SAP has renewed its reseller partnership with IBM, to resell IBM SPSS Modeler solution under the name SAP BusinessObjects.
This will replace the previous agreement between SPSS and Business Objects before they were acquired by the two parties involved in the new deal.
The new solution provides predictive modelling, data mining and statistical analysis and can be used to identify key sales opportunities and purchasing behaviour.
SAP's new software deal also marks the firm's continued expansion across the software industry, which continues to see new businesses showing an interest in and making use of SAP technology.
Last month, Gartner revealed that the worldwide enterprise software market grew by 8.5 per cent in 2010, reaching $245 billion (£153 billion).
The analysis firm also ranked SAP as the fourth biggest global enterprise software provider, with a market share of 5.3 per cent in 2010.
Revenue also reached $12,979 (£8,109) last year, increasing by 13.9 per cent compared to 2009.
