The ideal the candidate must have both relevant and extensive experience in SAP Delivery coupled with strategic forward thinking and motivated by working within a fast paced and constantly changing environment including some, but preferably all of the points below:
* Co-ordinating the review of the design and configuration of the SAP R/3 design to ensure compatibility with the Business. This must ensure alignment across all businesses in the adoption of a common process of manufacture with any exceptions being fully documented and justified using the change control process
* Identifying resources, locating and securing resources for the Project.
* Understanding benefits and challenges ensuring that these are delivered to the Business by the Project.
* Identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies. Ownership of the Risk and Issue Register.
* Project planning including the review of plans, deliverables and approving significant changes to plans.
Key Experience/Specific skills:
* Minimum 5 years SAP project management experience
* General understanding of the following SAP modules PP/PM, QM, WM, MM, SD, CRM or FI/CO configuration
* Able to lead functional and technical development projects to a high standard.
* Implement projects on-time, within budget and to a high standard.
* Experience working for a Global company with several SAP instances.
* Strong Business consulting, with ability to lead and define processes and solutions
* Experience with working with the ASAP methodology or Prince 2 qualified
