
Pre-sales Consultant. Solutions sales - WMS, ERP, Retail Merchandising/POS systems.
WMS Pre-sales Consultant is currently required for a niche warehouse Management division for a Pan-European market leader.
As a WMS Pre-sales Consultant, you will be responsible for the provision of professional software pre-sales and consultancy support to the Sales and Technical Teams tasked with selling and delivering our WMS solutions within our core market verticals; namely the manufacturing, retail and supply chain sectors. In addition, the pre-sales consultant will provide pre-sales solution consultancy on some of the other solution offerings, including Voice, Retail data capture and RFID.
Candidates must be familiar with commonly encountered operating systems, networks, connectivity solutions and a number of host systems (especially WMS, ERP (SAP) and Retail Merchandising/POS systems).
Must have an in depth knowledge of typical data capture requirements and their likely system solutions.
Skills and Experience
Must have skills and experience in the following areas:
Business Process Analysis in Warehousing and Logistics
Systems Architecture
Software development methodology
Project Management
Mobile data capture and/or RFID and/or WLAN hardware and/or Voice Driven Warehouse Technologies
Communication and Integration Techniques
Desirable Attributes
Previous experience as a software development manager, project manager, technical architect or business process consultant.
WLAN Network Architecture and Technologies
WWAN Network Architecture and Technologies (eg GPRS, GPS)
RF, Wireless and Network Security
Mobile and Desktop Label Printing
This is an excellent opportunity for a WMS Pre-Sales Consultant to join a success expanding business.
Candidates should ideally be located in close to Bracknell, Staines, Maidenhead, Ascot or surrounding areas. Travel to clients will be required.
