
In this role, the position holder designs information management solutions which optimally support business processes in the area of Supply Chain, Finance & HR Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence, using standard and integrated software (Enterprise Application Integration Domain).
The main challenge of the position is to design solutions which, on the one hand, are aligned with the enterprise architecture roadmap and standards, and, at the same time, ensure operational excellence through low running costs of the systems.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Understanding business requirements and processes and translating them into a platform specific solution and system design
* Enabling the SC, F & HR Solution Centre to provide technical input to the Business Solution Creation and Project Initiation processes
* Acting as consultant to line and project managers
* Managing the interface to the Technical Development team and the Solution Lifecycle Management team (who will be responsible for operations and future enhancements).
* Reviewing the technical design specifications derived out of the functional specifications.
* Helping establish standards for System Delivery Specification and Technical System Design
* Defining testing strategies for System and User Acceptance tests
For this position, you bring the following qualification:
* Masters Degree or equivalent work experience in computer science, software engineering or similar field
* Deep expert knowledge in Data Warehouse concepts and in one or more BI areas or tools (e.g. Reporting, Planning, Data Mining etc.).
* 3-5 years of experience in SAP BW, Oracle knowledge is advantageous - Certification within SAP BW 7.X is required
* General business process knowledge in at least of one these areas (Finance / Supply Chain Management/ Procurement), as well in R/3 related modules
* Understanding of ITIL / ITSM concepts is advantageous
* Advanced English language skills
* Availability to travel when required
