Let me first please introduce myself. My name is Richard Vercesi, CEO here at Red Commerce and I have had the pleasure of being with Red since 2001. During this period I have gained an excellent understanding of the SAP Market and SAP Ecosystem, on top of the recruitment experience I have gained throughout my career.
2008/2009 have been testing times for many of us. The recession has affected individuals, niche players, SMEs and Global players, but the pure nature of what SAP actually does and the significance it has in all Companies Strategies, appears to have made it a better place to be than many others.
Over the past 3-6 months I have started to see an upturn across the markets in general and see no reason why we will not see continuous but steady growth again over the next 12-24 months.
The development of the website led us to see that we needed to be more creative than the ‘usual’ recruitment websites. This development period has allowed us – with the website - to better represent the SAP Professional’s we serve. We also wanted to give the wider SAP Community a real opportunity to get to know us and what we stand for and with the aim of making it as interactive as possible. I think the site achieves this totally.
I am really pleased with our new website and hope you are already taking advantage of its many unique features. A lot of time and energy went into designing and developing it. We wanted to create a central place where everyone associated with SAP can Blog, write and publish industry White Papers, share their views and thoughts with fellow professionals and at the same time have a place to find their next career move or identify their next project.
This is the one of several exciting things Red Commerce are doing to help us achieve our Vision of becoming “The Global SAP Partner of choice” in 2010. The websites next phase of development is already underway and with your help we can hopefully improve it and help it evolve to being an even better resource for you. We can’t do this without your comments, suggestions and feedback. You can let us know what you think by sending us an email to
website@redcommerce.com
Finally I would like to wish you all a successful start to the New Year and a prosperous 2010. I look forward to getting involved with some of the discussions that will take place within this Blog section.
Kind Regards,
Richard Vercesi, CEO, Red Commerce Ltd
